What Youll Do
- Develop and maintain high-performance C/C software powering PlayStation experiences
- Contribute to systems used across PlayStation consoles servers and the web
- Build test and deploy services in aLinux environment
- Collaborate across teams to troubleshoot and optimize large complex codebases
- Apply solidobject-oriented design principles to create maintainable and scalable code
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions with a global team
Were seeking candidates who bring most of the following:
- A BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical field
- 3 years of professional experience in C/C development (required)
- 1 year of experience in web development with tools like JavaScript React WebCodecs or WebAssembly
- Experience working on aPlayStation project or with console-level development
- Background in building and maintainingLinux-based server applications
- Comfort usingCMake for builds and Git for version control
- Strong debugging skills inlarge software projects
- Solid grasp ofobject-oriented programming and design patterns
- Bonus: Experience withPython and/or Rust

At SIE we consider several factors when setting each roles base pay range including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.
Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.
$145700 - $218500 USD
