Buyer MRO Sourcing Specialist Americas

Location: Devon US

Were looking for a Buyer MRO MRO Sourcing Specialist Americas to lead sourcing and supplier management across North and Central America. This role focuses on key categories including PPE Electrical Hydraulic Pneumatic Hand Tools Pumps Valves and other Consumables.

Youll work closely with Engineering teams and Procurement Business Partners who provide demand planning ensuring alignment that drives cost savings operational performance and long-term value. By collaborating with Global Category Leads youll help shape procurement strategies support innovation and contribute to a more sustainable future.

The role:

As a Buyer MRO Sourcing Specialist Americas you will help drive our goals by:

  • Supporting Strategic Sourcing Activities: Assist in running sourcing events preparing documentation and supporting supplier negotiations in line with category strategies.

  • Contributing to Value Delivery: Help track and report on savings support pipeline development and contribute to achieving annual cost and cash flow targets.

  • Maintaining Supplier and Site Collaboration: Act as a key link between suppliers and JM site teams supporting relationship management and ensuring smooth execution of sourcing plans.

  • Enabling Cross-Functional Alignment: Work with Capex Procurement JMGS teams and Category Leads to ensure coordinated approaches avoid duplication and support broader category goals.

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in MRO procurement and Engineering/Maintenance/Safety roles within heavy manufacturing industries (e.g. Steel Automotive Tier 1 Chemicals).

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with proven ability to analyse data at purchase order level to identify cost-saving opportunities.

  • Experience with contract negotiation (commercial technical legal) and cross-functional project execution across different cultures and time zones.

  • Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or related field or equivalent professional experience.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. SAP) Microsoft Office (Excel intermediate or higher) and e-procurement tools; knowledge of Power BI and Coupa Source-to-Contract (S2C) is highly desirable.

  • Fluent in English Spanish is desirable.

  • Ability to work effectively across diverse cultures time zones and geographies.

  • Must be on-site at one of our Philadelphia-area locations at least 3 times per week.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally both domestically and internationally.
