We are looking for someone with a maintenance background in an industrial setting to become our next Skills Trainer. Whats The Job
Title: Industrial Maintenance Technical Trainer
Location: Dayton OH primarily traveling to Indianapolis Paris IL & Memphis TN regularly
Salary: Full Time Salaried up to $87000 depending on education and experience
Hours: Hours are typically dayshift. Some off shift training may be required. M-Th or M-F working hours may be rotationally necessary based on employee shifts for those who will be trained and content development. Subject to change.
Travel: Average 25-35%

What Will I Be Doing
Here are just a few things you can expect to do daily:
Team member must be able to work in a team oriented and safety conscious environment. Safety First expectations include but are not limited to PJHA process Observation process and compliance with all company / site safety guidelines and procedures.
Identifying the educational needs of others developing formal educational or training programs or classes and teaching or instructing others.
Administer Industrial Maintenance Training Programs
Present training and conduct discussions to increase employees knowledge using visual aids such as graphs charts videotapes and slides
Conduct on-the-job training classes or training sessions to teach and demonstrate processes techniques procedures and/or methods of designated subjects
Select and assemble books materials supplies and equipment for training courses or projects.
Administer oral written or performance tests to measure progress and to evaluate training effectiveness
Prepare reports and maintain records such as grades attendance rolls and training activity detail.
Provide instruction and tutorial and/or remedial instruction.
Updating and Using Relevant Knowledge Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job.
Coaching and Developing Others Identifying the developmental needs of others and coaching mentoring or otherwise helping others to improve their knowledge or skills.
Interpreting the Meaning of Information for Others Translating or explaining what information means and how it can be used.
Documenting/Recording Information Entering transcribing recording storing or maintaining information in written or electronic/magnetic form; Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork.
Interacting With Computers Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to program set up functions enter data or process information.
Write Grant Proposals/ApplicationsWorking with state and federal entities to request maintain information and complete applications for training grants

Education and Training Knowledge of processes and methods for curriculum and training design teaching and instruction for employees and groups; ability to teach others how to do things.
Mathematics Knowledge of arithmetic algebra geometry calculus statistics and their applications; ability to add subtract multiply and divide quickly and correctly; ability to select the right mathematical method or formulas to solve problems.
Machine Reliability Procedures and PracticesRCM RCA Lean Predictive technologies Alignment Planning Scheduling.
Communication Skills Ability to communicate with others using verbal non-verbal written reading and listening skills. Experience with remote/online presentation is a bonus.
Industrial Health & Safety Knowledge of industrial safety policies and procedures; Provide assistance regarding the development implementation and presentation of training to the site safety department
Deductive & Inductive Reasoning Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense; Ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions including finding relationships among seemingly unrelated events or information
Selective Attention Ability to concentrate on a task in a high traffic noisy environment without being distracted
What are the physical demands of the role

The ability to travel to other locations with high level of flexibility by rental vehicle or air travel. Experience with travel arrangements independent travel and expense reports is ideal.

Substantial lifting (up to 50 pounds) is required
