Job Description

Team Carney a dynamic performance and professional development provider is actively seeking a Force Development Training Analyst to support a government contract related to a military Expeditionary Combat Command.
This position is onsite in the Virginia Beach Virginia area.
This position requires an active Secret security clearance.


Responsibilities:
  • Analyzeand assess current tactics techniques and procedures (TTPs) as well as doctrine to identify existing capability gaps and provide solutions to enhance the future forces readiness and effectiveness.
  • Design develop deliver and maintain comprehensive curricula and associated training materials that will cultivate confident skilled and capable professionals prepared for dynamic and high-pressure environments.
  • Develop and implement training strategies to ensure both active-duty and reserve personnel attain the equivalent competencies of their joint service counterparts
  • Provide instruction on leadership military decision-making and both basic and advanced tactical skills to improve the survivability of NECC assets including personnel and equipment in high-threat and complex operational environments.
  • Assist in conducting force development (Fd) training and readiness gap analysis to identify and address training requirements skill deficiencies and performance gaps.
  • Utilize data collection methods to conduct needs assessments and produce actionable recommendations that address readiness and capability gaps.
  • Coordinate with NECC and component commands to ensure force development tasks are aligned with the broader mission requirements and operational goals.
  • Provide continuous support for Fd training analysis ensuring alignment with operational needs and enhancing the effectiveness of current and future training programs across the command.
  • Review daily Naval Messages for NECF readiness and Fd impacts.
  • Analyze information from the following sources (but not limited to): NECC readiness reporting program Navy Lessons Learned Program After Action Reports Post Deployment Briefs Navy Training System Plans Casualty Reporting Database and Inspector General Reports.
  • Attend meetings as assigned and provide summary report(s) describing readiness training and or Fd impacts.
  • Coordinate with members of the NECC staff and its component commands to identify existing strengths and gaps as they relate to readiness and Fd.
  • Identify Fd-related impacts by utilizing the Joint Lessons Learned database and submit recommendations for improvements.

Requirements:
  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Prior military experience at a Navy Expeditionary command and/or Navy staff
  • Subject expertise in one or more of the following:Navy Lesson Learned ProgramKnowledge Management and Decision Support SystemNavy Training System PlansJoint Capabilities Integration and Development System
  • Ability to travel to other component command locations as required.

The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and is based on full-time status. Part-time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represent the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements) and is just one component of Team Carneys total compensation package for employees. Projected salary range of $80000 to $125000 annually.
