You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are looking for a motivated and talented Radiochemist to join our team in Uppsala Sweden! In this role you will focus on method development for PET chemistry products and components with a particular emphasis on radiometals. You will be responsible for independently executing assigned projects while receiving guidance and support from senior team members.
To succeed in this position you should have a strong understanding of separation techniques analytical methods and physical chemistry. Your work will involve developing and optimizing methods conducting experiments and analyzing data to ensure the accuracy and reliability of results. You will also collaborate with colleagues to solve complex problems and contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes.
As a Radiochemist you will play a crucial role in advancing our research and development efforts. Conduct scientific research and development in PET Chemistry for assigned projects adhering to business standards practices procedures and product/program requirements.
Develop foundational knowledge in your discipline which may include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in a broad area.
Collaborate and build strong relationships with colleagues to solve problems by exchanging technical information asking questions and ensuring mutual understanding.
Offer new perspectives on new problems and existing solutions using your chemistry knowledge and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.
Lead minor projects with moderate risks and resource requirements under guidance from senior members.
Resolve issues independently using established procedures or by consulting with supervisors or senior team members for guidance.
This role requires basic experience in Engineering/Technology & Chemistry. Knowledge level is comparable to a masters degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
Strong oral and written communication skills: Swedish (working preferably) and English (fluent required).
Experience with radiometals is strongly meritorious.
Ability to document plan and execute chemistry projects.
Driven curious team player with a willingness to learn.
Strong interpersonal skills.
