None/Not RequiredCollins Aerospace has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer to support its Power & Controls organization. Were looking for a passionate professional to accept a high level of responsibility within a fast-paced dynamic environment.
In this high-impact role the selected candidate will lead Supplier Requests for Information (SRIs) tracking and reporting for Rotating Machinery (RM) and Pack under Environmental and Aircraft Control Systems (EACS). This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of aerospace technology collaborating with top professionals across various disciplines in an environment that encourages growth innovation and career advancement.
This position will sit at our Aguadilla PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.
This role is categorized as hybrid with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager.
What YOU will do:
- Lead SRI burndown to ensure efficient execution.
- Coordinate efforts that can include engineering changes to address SRIs.
- Create presentations and reports for RM & Pack leadership.
- Act as a liaison between RM & Pack and GETC-PR SRI supporting organization
- Work closely with a multifunctional team to meet defined requirements mitigate risks and ensure milestones are achieved.
- Provide Project Engineering support as needed.

Qualifications you must have:
- Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
- Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
- U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience in project engineering preferably in aerospace or defense.
- Strong leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams align members with project goals and drive progress toward milestones.
- Experience communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders including through written reports and verbal presentations. Proven ability to convey project status risks and solutions to senior leadership and customers.
- Experience creating clear concise and well-structured technical documents reports and proposals including requirements design details and testing procedures.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word PowerPoint Excel Project) with the ability to create detailed reports presentations schedules and project tracking documents.
