Job Title: Parts Technician
Reports To: Equipment Administrator
Emil Anderson Equipment a well-respected player in the equipment industry and is currently seeking an organized detail-oriented motivated Parts Technician who works well in a team based environment.
Job Overview
The Parts Technician is a vital position within the organization dedicated to optimizing inventory management and supply chain operations. This role demands a combination of technical knowledge logistical acumen and strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with various departments and suppliers. The Parts Technician ensures the timely procurement and distribution of parts supports inventory accuracy fosters relationships with vendors and significantly contributes to the seamless operation and reliability of organizational processes.
Responsibilities:
Parts procurement and lookup for heavy construction on highway mining industries and small engines.
Logistics for procurement and shipping province wide and internationally.
Pickup and delivery of parts from local suppliers.
Manage all aspects of shipping and receiving for equipment parts.
Carry out administrative duties including data entry related to parts inventory PO creation and shipping documents.
Support in maintaining an organized and efficient inventory system.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid drivers license with a clean driving abstract.
Previous parts experience required (minimum 1-2 years).
Journeyman ticket preferred.
Solid organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
Ability and willingness to perform physical work including periodic heavy lifting.
Proficient with basic computer programs for administrative tasks.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Work well in a team based environment.
Working Hours & Benefits:
3 month probation prior to permanent placement.
Salary position (40 hours per week).
Vacation based on employment time and experience.
Bonus structure
Extensive on-the-job training will be provided.
The wage range for this position will be discussed during the interview stage taking into consideration candidate qualifications and experience.
