Hours: Sunday Thursday 7.4 Hours per day
Flexible start time from 3.30pm 11:30pm (start time depending on driver cover and meetings to attend) the role may also need to cover the night drivers.

Join Anglian Water as our Logistics Night Operations Manager and take control of our vital overnight logistics operation. In this dynamic role youll be at the heart of emergency supportensuring rapid delivery of critical parts to restore water supplies and maintain essential services across the region. From coordinating HGV drivers and warehouse activity to handling real-time incidents youll keep the wheels turning and make sure every urgent request is delivered with precision and care.

Key Responsibilities:
Emergency Logistics Coordination
Respond quickly to urgent overnight requests prioritising and dispatching drivers with essential materials using SAP and Masternaut systems.
Night Warehouse Oversight
Manage and support warehouse operations ensuring reactive scheduling part picking and stock checks are completed efficiently.
Health & Safety Leadership
Uphold and enforce all transport legislation and safety standards delivering briefings ensuring compliance and maintaining a safe environment for all staff.
Team Leadership
Line manage a team of night drivers driving performance and ensuring safe and effective shift operations.
Out-of-Hours Support
Provide on-call emergency driving cover on a rotating basis and attend key afternoon team briefings when required.
What does it take to be a Logistics Night Operations Manager

Experience and skills:
Class 2 Driving License (C) Essential
Line Management in a Logistics/Operational environment with examples of safety ownership
IT competent (Microsoft Office 365 suite)
Experience with Warehouse Inventory Management and/or Transport Management systems
Health and safety management qualifications (IOSH SMSTS) - Desirable
MHE trained (reach truck / counterbalance / Moffett) - Desirable
HIAB lift experience Slinger/Signaller and/or Lift Supervisor - Desirable
SAP S/4 Warehouse Management system experience - Desirable
Class 2 Driving License (CE) - Desirable
Completed DQC card CPC Essential
Additional driver vocational training (i.e. ADR) Desirable
