requires a
PART TIME DAYTIME CUSTODIAN
Clearview Public Schools invites applications for a Part Time Custodian position to provide custodial support at the Stettler Complex (Stettler Elementary School and William E. Hay Stettler Secondary Campus). The successful candidate will be required 4 hours/day Monday through Friday on the days that students are in class (approximately 180 days per school year) starting at the beginning of the 2025-26 school year.
The position is a daytime shift starting at 10 am and ending at 2 selecting a candidate a key consideration will be the willingness and availability to provide snow removal services from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM on days when such services are required.
We are seeking a hard-working friendly flexible and service-oriented individual to provide custodial support during the day to a busy school complex with approximately 1400 students and over 100 staff members. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in contributing to a learning environment focused on student success. The successful candidate will have the ability to foster professional relationships and work collaboratively with both the custodial team and the school administration to ensure that the school is clean safe and welcoming for all users.
The primary responsibilities of this position include providing daytime cleaning to high-use areas such as cafeterias washrooms and entrances as well as addressing any unexpected cleaning or minor maintenance issues that arise throughout the day. This position requires an individual with the physical ability to perform a variety of tasks including lifting and carrying items weighing up to 45 lbs. The role involves activities such as moving furniture handling cleaning supplies and equipment and performing other duties that require physical stamina and strength.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $21.92 per hour as per the CUPE Collective Agreement. This position qualifies for a health and wellness spending account but not additional benefits such as extended health care benefits and a pension.

The successful candidate will be required to provide a current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector prior to employment commencing.
