Job Description:
Summary
The Senior Vice-President Global Asset Liability Management champions innovative strategies that optimize asset and liability risk management across Sun Lifes global organization ultimately supporting our purpose of helping Clients achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier lives.
This role works closely with Business Groups Investments Finance Actuarial and Risk teams to develop and implement ALM practices that meaningfully contribute to our enterprise-wide strategy and financial objectives. The SVP provides clear and coherent messaging for the Executive Team the Board of Directors and regulators reinforcing Sun Lifes commitment to financial strength and stability. Through asset-liability management best practices this role helps Sun Life navigate market volatility and economic uncertainties ensuring we remain resilient and well-positioned to meet Client needs both now and in the future.
As a member of the Risk Actuarial and ALM Leadership Team the SVP Global Asset Liability Management is expected to contribute and add value to a wide range of wide strategic discussions. This role will act as a dynamic change agent within the global actuarial and investment community and extends this influence more broadly as our business and the external market continue to evolve.

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
