Overview
Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking an EHR Specialist to be part of our Athena Support and Development Team in Hendersonville NC.

What Youll Do:
The EHR Specialist strives to meet the organizations goals of maintaining clinical systems and providing a secure effective integrated patient care delivery system that continually improves outcomes reduces costs increases efficiency and enhances patients experiences. Responsibilities include:
- Assist with maintenance of EHR/CPS (as well as third-party systems i.e. patient portal e-prescribing lab interface etc.).
- Collaborate with senior staff clinicians and end users to design build test train implement and evaluate all clinical software applications.
- Provide support to staff who use clinical information system(s).
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues as well as software modifications and enhancements
- Maintain current knowledge of the systems and applications through: attending training courses reading information available in product announcements participating in system updates and subscribing to vendor web sites.
- Build good working relationships and maintain a continuous interface with customers vendors co-workers and supervisor and utilizes these relationships to resolve issues and problems and explore opportunities.
- Provide training to clinical staff and user clients on EHR and other third party clinical systems
- Develop and utilize training manuals and programs to keep the end-users at the highest level of knowledge on the functionality of the system.
- Assist the Clinical Data Analyst in running reports and/or collecting and organizing data into meaningful evaluations.
What Were Looking For:
- Experience in problem analysis and testing with an emphasis in healthcare applications
- Background in Healthcare Operations Clinical Operations Nursing and/or Physician Workflow
- Knowledge of Excel Microsoft PowerPoint Outlook and Word
- Clinical EHR Implementation and training experience (preferred)
- SQL Server Management studio (preferred)
