Job Description
Location: Brenham TX 77833
Assignment Duration: Permanent
Schedule: 12 hr Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Compensation: Based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support nursing staff to deliver safe quality patient care.
- Coordinate workflow and staffing to meet patient care needs.
- Monitor compliance with nursing standards protocols and policies.
- Ensure adherence to hospital and department-specific protocols.
- Serve as a resource and mentor to clinical staff; assist with training and development.
- Respond to emergencies and serve as a clinical escalation point.
- Foster a collaborative and respectful environment across teams.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and patient safety goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely communication with interdisciplinary teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Associates Degree in Nursing (minimum)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience
Licensure/Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) active license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) current or must obtain within 30 days of hire or transfer
