Billing/Accounting Clerk
Location: Downtown Vancouver BC
Salary Range: $48000 to $60000 per year
Job Type: Full-time
Our client a prominent downtown Vancouver law firm that focuses on foreclosure collections and insolvency matters are currently seeking a Billing/Accounting Clerk to join their team. This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a high-volume fast-paced environment and have a strong foundation in accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and posting client invoices.
- Recording and managing client payment receipts.
- Processing and posting trust receipts and disbursements.
- Performing bank reconciliations for general and trust accounts.
- Assisting with additional accounting tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Completion of post-secondary accounting courses.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in an accounting environment with a preference for legal accounting experience.
- Familiarity with PCLaw is a significant asset.
- Exceptional attention to detail organizational skills and accuracy.
- Ability to handle a high volume of work and meet deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in multitasking within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and a sound understanding of accounting procedures.
