Job Description
Responsibilities
-
Responsible for designing and delivering web apps from layout to function and according to the business specifications.
-
The individual will be responsible for integrating data from various back-end services and databases.
-
The role would entail building front-end Website architecture improving user interactions on Web and developing necessary back-end applications
-
Given the growing demand for mobile apps the individual will also be expected to support cross-platform optimization of the designed applications
-
The individual should look to develop assets that can be replicated and reused for various requirements across the business
-
As a developer the person will be involved in the project from conception to deployment
-
API creation and enhancement are some of the additional responsibilities
-
Person will be expected to stay abreast of any advancement in the programming and Web application development space
Required knowledge Skills and qualifications
-
Overall 4-6 years of Web/App development using Mendix or any RAD tool.
-
Experience with API /Microservice architecture (RESTJSONXML)
-
Experience with Front-end languages such as HTML5 CSS and JavaScript
-
Strong knowledge of building Microflows/Nanoflows in Mendix 8x/9x/10x
-
Development experience with JAVA would be preferable.

Experience in Data modelling and structures
-
Strong Analytical and Problem solving skills

In addition the individual should have the following

Able to work under tight deadlines
-
Should be flexible to accommodate business requirements and work requests from different time zones
-
Excellent communication skills. The position requires constant interaction with stakeholders across the company.

Knowledge of insurance domain would be an added advantage
