A mission-driven pediatric therapy team based in Oregon is seeking a highly organized and experienced Medical Biller to join their growing practice. This is a full-time remote role supporting a collaborative team that is passionate about empowering children and families to reach their fullest potential through movement play and connection.
The Medical Biller will work closely with the in-house billing department to manage the full back-end billing cycle. This position plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate claim processing payment posting and account reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities
Process and submit claims to insurance providers
Conduct claim review and posting
Reconcile end-of-day billing reports
Generate and send patient statements
Follow up on unpaid claims and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
Post payments to patient accounts
Identify and resolve billing discrepancies
Review and appeal denied claims as needed
Ensure compliance with all coding and billing regulations
Create and share billing reports with management
Proven experience as a medical biller preferably in pediatric or therapy settings
Strong understanding of insurance claim processes and medical billing best practices
High attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
Availability to work during U.S. business hours (Pacific Time preferred)

Raintree (EMR Windows-only; Mac is not compatible)
Microsoft Office 365
Trainual (for internal training and documentation)
Technical Requirements
PC (Windows operating system required)
