Job Summary
- Light Housekeeping including but not limited to vacuuming dusting sweeping or mopping floors doing dishes changing bed linens doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms
- Provides Engagement for the client. This includes accompanying client on walks going out for a meal trips to social/recreational activities going out shopping assistance with hobbies or just sitting and chatting
- Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions. May shop for groceries
- Accompany or drive clients to appointments or run errands with clients
- Monitor client supplies and help reorder
- Meaningful engagement with those living with Dementia
- Observe and report changes in the clients physical condition behavior or appearance
- No previous experience necessary - skills training provided by Life Home Health*
Qualifications
- Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation every single day
- Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
- Available to work different shifts including nights and/or weekends
- Supportive and compassionate
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Take pride in providing high quality care
