Job Description
Goddard Mason Executive Search is seeking a skilled and dependableField Service Technician to support our client a global leader in processing equipment. This is a hands-on field-based role ideal for candidates with mechanical and electrical expertise and a background in industrial or equipment service. This is a direct hire position. $55K - $65K annually. This position requires you to be on call 24/7. Must be willing to travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics installation retrofits and servicing of equipment.
- Support production tasks and field operations as directed by management.
- Interact directly with clients to determine service needs and provide technical support.
- Train new employees and customer maintenance staff on equipment operation and servicing.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams including sales and contractors.
- Lead and assist with install and rebuild planning system updates and troubleshooting guides.
- Complete administrative tasks service reports and documentation accurately and on time.
- Promote safety teamwork and continuous improvement across job sites.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of technical experienceOR 4 years of mechanical/electrical manufacturing experience in lieu of a degree.
- Proven leadership as a maintenance supervisor or lead technician.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills including welding cutting grinding PLC calibration and wiring.
- Ability to train lead and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. travel extensively and remain mobile on job sites.
- Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.
Preferred Education:
- Associate degree in a technical or mechanical discipline.
