This position will be from approximately September 12 2025 through February 2 2026.
Your day to day:
- Under direction you will teach and instruct students inhigh school level art.
- Plan develop organize and conduct a comprehensive education program for secondary students.
- Create and maintain an environment that fosters student achievement and the development of lifelong skills
- Maximize opportunities for student success by creating positive working relationships with students and staff.
- Actively participate in the establishment of policies and procedures that make sense for this unique teaching and learning environment.
- Remain flexible innovative and adaptive to change.
- Show confidence in working with new technology and various application packages.
- Be a role model for students regarding life-long learning and professional behavior
- Perform other related functions as required.

- You have worked hard to obtain a bachelors degree or higher in education instructional technology a subject matter commonly taught in grades 9-12 or closely related field.
- You have successfully completed student teaching at an accredited college or university.
- You have obtained a license as a teacher.
- You are a creative thinker and problem solver an excellent communicator with strong collaboration skills and are a team player.
- You can demonstrate proficient use of technology.
- You have knowledge of the principles theories methods techniques and strategies pertaining to teaching and instruction ofsecondary grade students.
- You possess an understanding of behavior management and behavior shaping strategies techniques and methods and conflict resolution procedures.
- You understand the socio-economic and cultural background differences of the general school population.
