Job Description
Great Southern Wood Preserving Inc. producer of Yellawood brand Pressure-Treated Pine is seeking Combi-Lift and forklift operators. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and full benefit package.
Essential Duties:
Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus
Positions forks lifting platforms or other lifting devices under over or around loaded pallets skids boxes products or materials and transport load to designated area
Pulls custom specialized orders for customers and packages the order with extreme care
Inventories materials on the work floor and supplies workers with materials as needed
Have the ability to lift push and/or pull up to 50 pounds frequently
Have the ability to follow work procedures and safety policies/procedures
Must have strong attention to detail
Must have strong teamwork skills
Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma or GED preferred
Must have at least 6 months of DISTRIBUTION WAREHOUSE experience
Must have at least 6 months of experience operating a forklift
. Combi-Lift experience a plus.
Must be knowledgeable with basic computer skills and scan gun devices
. Must have reliable transportation
