About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and goal-driven Collections Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing the accounts receivable process maintaining accurate records and driving effective collection activities to support the financial health of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Keeping accurate records and reporting on collection activity
The duties of a Collections Specialist include collection calls and/or correspondence in a fast paced goal oriented collections department
Communicate with customers regarding collection issues and take actions to encourage timely debt payments
Communicate and follow up effectively with sales dept. regarding customer accounts on a timely basis
Weekly update of upcoming collections
Accounts Receivable reconciliation
Ad-hoc reports or queries related to outstanding customer balances
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in finance or accounting or equivalent training or experience 2 years of experience in collections;
Fluency English;
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Software strong MIS skills;
SAP FI module and Onguard Collection tool would be an advantage;
Excellent verbal and written communication skill.
