About this job:
We are seeking an Enterprise Architect to join our Life and Health IT department based in Dublin.
In this role you will have the following key responsibilities:
Strategic IT Planning
- Develop and maintain the strategic IT roadmap for the Life and Health division ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy.
- Drive long-term planning activities to ensure technology investments are aligned with business priorities and objectives.
Architecture Development and Optimization
- Design and implement enterprise-wide IT architecture solutions that support business processes and operations.
- Ensure that all architectural designs are aligned with industry best practices regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Lead the evaluation and selection of software hardware and technologies that support the enterprise architecture goals.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration
- Work closely with business leaders IT teams and external partners to understand requirements deliver solutions that meet business needs and ensure successful project execution.
- Present architectural plans and strategies providing clear and concise explanations of complex technical concepts.
- Work with stakeholders to identify technology trends and assess their potential impact on the organization.
Governance and Risk Management
- Develop implement and oversee governance frameworks to ensure IT initiatives adhere to organizational policies standards and regulations.
- Assist the IT security team in performing risk assessments and devising strategies to mitigate potential IT risks and vulnerabilities.

Educational Background
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Professional certifications in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF Zachman) are highly desirable.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture
- Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing enterprise-level IT solutions.
- Extensive experience with cloud computing data analytics and emerging technologies.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and holistically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong assertiveness and ability to work with cross-functional teams and projects.
- Proficiency in enterprise architecture tools and methodologies.
