Our Opportunity
We are seeking a forward-thinking business manager to drive digital business growth within our Thales Training & Simulation (TTS UK) business line within Thales.
In 2025 The UK Digital twin centre opened and is a new centre where its mission is to support Thales and other companies create and use digital twins Virtual models of real-world systems such as ships aircrafts or other whole environments. These models help us test and improve things before they are built or used in real life.
The Business Manager Digital is responsible for managing all UKDTC Digital opportunities from qualification through to contract award. This includes value proposition strategy development solution development commercial considerations partner identification proposal writing and risk management.
Key tasks/Responsibilities:
Acting as Capture Lead for portion of Digital Campaign portfolio of opportunities primarily within the UK DTC
Identify analyse qualify advocate and track Digital opportunities focussing on gathering intelligence and building relationships
This individual will act on behalf of the digital solutions lead for all the digital captures within their purview
This individual will engage with customers around Digital technologies identifying customer pain points & opportunities / benefits of utilising Digital solutions shaping solutions specific to customers to underpin their internal business cases.
About You
We are looking for someone who can confidently communicate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and capable of building effective relationships.
The ideal candidate will be agile and adaptable thriving in fast paced environments and manage change with confidence.
A solid business background is essential along with an ability to deliver impactful outcomes through strategic thinking collaboration and a hands-on approach.
