Job Description
AECOM Mississauga is hiring a Scheduler to join its Rail and Transit team supporting major infrastructure projects
Responsibilities:
- Schedule Development: Develop and validate the detailed schedules for civil elements (i.e. Stations facilities ancillary buildings trackwork utilities) of the project including material labor equipment and overhead costs.
- Schedule Validation: Review and validate schedule constructability including sequencing/phasing production rates durations resource and equipment assignments etc. considering the project constraints
- Quality Control: Review schedules for accuracy consistency completeness and contractual compliance before formal submission ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational scheduling procedures and requirements
- Relationship Management: Maintaining strong relationships with the Project Co to ensure consistent quality and compliance throughout the joint schedule development process
- Contract Management: Reviewing contracts change orders and submittals to ensure all schedule impacts align with project requirements.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate closely design and construction teams estimating and risk teams independent value assessors and other critical stakeholders to ensure schedules accurately reflect the scope and complexities of the project
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in in Civil engineering Construction Management or a related field
- Minimum 6 years of experience with at least 5 years experience in the integrated schedule development for a major capital construction project.
- Rapid rail and transit scheduling experience including developing the schedule for tunneling activities and station facilities track and system construction is preferred.
- Significant Primavera P6 experience
- Significant experience in cost loading and resource loading schedules
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ideally 7 years of experience with at least 5 years experience in the integrated schedule development for a major capital construction project.
- Knowledge of scheduling techniques including Critical Path Method (CPM) Earned Value Management (EVM) Resource Leveling
