Job Description
AECOM is searching for IT Infrastructure Specialist for an on-site position with a project based in Fredericton NB.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and configure user workstations printers and network equipment.
- Install and configure project-specific software (e.g. BIM tools Document Management tools).
- Provide first-line technical support and troubleshoot software or hardware issues.
- Manage user onboarding/offboarding from an IT access standpoint.
- Interface with software providers for installation support updates and technical issue resolution.
- Monitor vendor support agreements and service levels.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of software licenses.
- Ensure compliance with license terms and prepare for audits.
- Coordinate renewals and optimize licensing models with procurement.
- Track and manage IT assets allocated to staff.
- Enforce cybersecurity protocols and access control in line with corporate policy.
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in a related field 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in providing support for industrial software including web based applications and databases
- Experience with troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to quickly resolve issues and support needs
- Experience working with large corporations and multi discoplinary teams
