The insurance Program our clients enjoy was built on ease-of-use accommodating all occupancy phases of investment property (vacant rental or undergoing renovation). We are looking for a Training Specialist to enhance the competencies of individual employees by designing and conducting training programs that will boost workplace performance in alliance with companys core values. Responsible for developing and delivering curriculum and learning materials and for industry specific training. Essential Functions - Develop unique training programs to fulfill employee-specific needs to maintain or improve job skills.
- Create and/or acquire training procedure manuals guides and course materials.
- Present training and development programs using various forms and formats to large groups.
- Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments surveys and feedback.
- Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training and development.
- Ensures that training materials and programs are current accurate and effective.
- Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training and training requirements applicable to the organization and/or industry.
- With management identifies problems and opportunities such as operational changes or industry developments that training could improve.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications - Bachelors degree preferred.
- P&C Insurance knowledge/experience preferred.
- Must obtain P&C license within 30 days of hire (if not already licensed).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
- Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
- Ability to design and implement effective training and development.
- Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.
- Is capable of remaining calm when working with frustrated employees.
- Exhibits the ability to think creatively to devise new and more efficient training strategies.
- Maintains a professional but friendly and outgoing demeanor.
- Works well with a variety of different individuals remaining calm under pressure of working with stressed out employees going through training.
