Overview:
Are you passionate about equity and student support Do you thrive on turning tough moments into meaningful progress SIUE is looking for a compassionate organized and mission-driven Intake and Support Services Coordinator (CS25-267) to join our dynamic EOA team!
What You Will Do:As the first point of contact for individuals impacted by discrimination harassment or sexual misconduct youll be the grounding force that listens guides and connects. Heres a taste of your impact:
Be the First Voice Conduct intake with students and employees navigating challenging situations involving Title IX discrimination or harassment. Youll be the calm empathetic guide helping them take the next step.
Bridge to Resources Coordinate referrals to campus and community support services (counseling advocacy health academic accommodations and more).
Support Pregnant & Postpartum Students Assist with accommodations and help ensure educational access isnt interrupted by life events.
Case Management Superhero Help track update and close cases in our case management system with attention to detail and confidentiality.
Educate & Empower Help build and deliver engaging outreach training and education programming. (Your creativity is welcome!)
Data Wizardry Support data analysis and program evaluation. Help us tell our story and improve what we do.
Behind-the-Scenes MVP Assist with hearing prep team meetings and other crucial but often invisible support tasks that keep the EOA Office running strong.

-1 years of work experience in a related job discipline (consideration will be given for experience gained through practicum internship etc.)
-Ability to remain neutral and objective while handling highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion and compassion
-Experience with collecting information in a way that is both efficient and people oriented (i.e. trauma informed and supportive)
-Well developed oral and written language skills to facilitate clear communication
-Ability to draft thorough and detailed reports
-Ability to act both independently and collaboratively and to exercise sound judgment
-Strong organizational skills including ability to manage time and tasks effectively maintain detailed records
-Ability to understand interpret and apply University policies as well as general understanding of Title IX Title VII and ADA/504
Experience Preferred:
-Two (2) years of experience in high volume environment
-Crisis hotline crisis/risk assessment or case management experience
-Previous experience working with sexual misconduct and other investigatory experience

International students at SIUE on F-1 or J-1 visas are not eligible for full-time or part-time civil service positions with permanent status. F-1 and J-1 visa holders must be enrolled full-time and can only apply for temporary part-time roles working 20 hours or less per week during spring and fall semesters such as student worker positions assistantships and civil service extra help roles.
