Ward Nurse Manager RMN
Salary: Up to 50000
Full-time 37.5 hours per week

We are proud to be working with a leading provider of specialist high-dependency rehabilitation services for adults with complex mental health needs. They offer a supportive and inclusive environment where patient-centred recovery is at the heart of everything they do.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with strong leadership skills to step into a Ward Nurse Manager position. Youll be leading a dedicated clinical team and shaping the therapeutic environment of the ward while maintaining a hands-on role in delivering outstanding care.

What Were Looking For:

  • Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC pin
  • Previous experience in a senior or managerial role within a mental health setting (2 years minimum)
  • Strong understanding of rehabilitation recovery models and trauma-informed care
  • Excellent communication leadership and organisational skills
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and high-quality patient care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Management: Supervise support and inspire nursing and support staff promoting a culture of learning accountability and excellence.
  • Clinical Oversight: Ensure that care is delivered in line with national standards regulatory requirements and evidence-based practices.
  • Care Planning: Oversee personalised care plans and risk assessments for adults with complex mental health needs.
  • Quality & Safety: Monitor clinical effectiveness incident reporting and service user outcomes to continually improve standards.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with consultants therapists and families to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
  • Professional Development: Support the ongoing training and development of staff while keeping your own clinical knowledge current.
