P.K. Yonge Developmental Research School affiliated with the College of Education at the University of Florida is a public school established in 1934 with the mission to design test and disseminate best practices in K-12 education through serving a diverse student community.

P.K. Yonge faculty serves approximately 1450 students each year and in partnership with faculty at the UF College of Education strive to design and test innovative teaching solutions to meet the needs of all learners.

Commensurate with education & experience.
1. A Masters degree; candidates with Bachelors degree will be considered but will be required to obtain a Masters degree within three years of hire.
2. Florida Temporary or Professional teaching certification in K-12 Physical Education AND one or more of the following:
Candidates without one of the listed Health Education certifications will be required to obtain certification in Health K-12 Biology 6-12 or Health Science Education within one year of hire.
3. Excellent oral and written communication skills
4. FDLE Background check
3 years of K-12 teaching experience
