Job Description

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of industry experience in insurance or broker dealer service operations compliance or audit with a focus on anti-money laundering fraud or other financial crime.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office applications particularly Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of life annuity brokerage and investment advisory products and operations
  • Knowledge of Equitables products processes and controls of the organization activities
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others in a team environment
  • Highly analytical with a controls mindset
  • Flexible and willing to respond to unanticipated issues and constantly reprioritize based on business demands
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work independently on a multitude of projects and ensure that both internal and external deadlines are met.
  • Possess leadership skills and can successfully work alone and to maintain a team player attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

The AML Enhanced Due Diligence Manager (EDD Manager) will support the maintenance and control design strategy of the Sanctions Anti-Money Laundering and Enhanced Due diligence programs and assessing risks associated with high-risk clients identified during onboarding and customer life cycle. This position will comply with all state and federal rules regulations and laws while utilizing sound judgment and the highest degree of confidentiality.

The individual must be an independent worker that is self-driven and be able to work collaboratively with the team and business partners.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The base salary range for this position is $56000 - $70000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills experience and geographical location. In addition to base pay Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases spot bonuses and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.
