Status: Full-Time - Flexible Schedule
(Shifts Available - Day Evening Weekend)
Primary Purpose:
The primary purpose of the Barista is to provide guests with an excellent caf experience.
Work Performed:
TheBaristawill be tasked with the following duties responsibilities and assignments:
Provide high-quality guest service through outstanding interpersonal relations informing guests about available food beverage and retail items for purchase and about amenities in the hotel and surroundingarea;
Marketavailable food beverage and gift shop itemstoguests;
Prepare specialty coffee drinks in accordance withrecipes;
Clean and disinfect thecaf;
Maintainand refreshmerchandise and fooddisplays;
Capture all sales according to company guidelines including responsibility forthe cashdrawer;
Account for all cash and secure money drops according to companypolicy;
Observe Health Department guidelines for food handling and sanitation so that guests and employees will not be in risk of cross-contamination especially focusing on cleaning and sanitizingsinks side boards and refrigerators clean andsanitized;
Date and rotate foodon a dailybasis;
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures including reporting accidentsinjuriesand unsafe work conditions to management; and
Any and allother work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
Qualifications:
Required Prior Experience:
Prior customer service experience
Preferred Prior Experience:
Six months experience in food service
Preferred Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Required Licenses/ Certification:
Food Safety certificate or complete training during initial 90 days
Alcohol certification or complete training during initial 90 days
Preferred Technology:
Previous experience with Micros operating system
Physical:
Able to lift a minimum of 50lbsoccasionally
Ableto bend and squat repeatedly
Able to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift
Other:
Flexible towork day early mornings eveningsnightsweekends and holidaysshifts.

El objetivo principal del barista es brindar a los huspedes una excelente experiencia en la cafetera.
Tareas desempeadas:
El barista tendr las siguientes funciones responsabilidades y asignaciones:
- Brindar un servicio al cliente de alta calidad mediante excelentes relaciones interpersonales informando a los huspedes sobre la disponibilidad de alimentos bebidas y artculos de venta al por menor as como sobre los servicios del hotel y sus alrededores;
- Comercializar los alimentos bebidas y artculos de la tienda de regalos disponibles a los huspedes;
- Preparar bebidas de caf de especialidad segn las recetas;
- Limpiar y desinfectar la cafetera;
- Mantener y renovar la mercanca y los expositores de alimentos;
- Registrar todas las ventas de acuerdo con las directrices de la empresa incluyendo la responsabilidad de la caja registradora;
- Contabilizar todo el efectivo y asegurar los depsitos de dinero de acuerdo con la poltica de la empresa;
- Cumplir con las directrices del Departamento de Salud sobre manipulacin e higiene de alimentos para evitar el riesgo de contaminacin cruzada entre clientes y empleados especialmente en la limpieza y desinfeccin de fregaderos aparadores y refrigeradores.
- Fechar y rotar los alimentos diariamente.
- Seguir todas las polticas y procedimientos de seguridad de la empresa incluyendo la notificacin de accidentes lesiones y condiciones laborales inseguras a la gerencia.
- Cualquier otra tarea necesaria para cumplir con el objetivo principal del puesto.
Requisitos:
Experiencia previa requerida:
Experiencia previa en atencin al cliente
Experiencia previa preferida:
Seis meses de experiencia en servicios de alimentacin
Educacin preferida:
Diploma de bachillerato o equivalente
Licencias/Certificaciones requeridas:
Certificado de seguridad alimentaria o capacitacin completa durante los primeros 90 das
Certificado de alcohol o capacitacin completa durante los primeros 90 das
Tecnologa preferida:
Experiencia previa con el sistema operativo Microsoft
Condiciones fsicas:
Capacidad para levantar un mnimo de 22.5 kg ocasionalmente
Capacidad para agacharse y ponerse en cuclillas repetidamente
Capacidad para caminar y estar de pie durante el turno programado
Otros:
Flexibilidad para trabajar en turnos diurnos matutinos vespertinos nocturnos fines de semana y festivos.
Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set years & depth of experience certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
