RAD is a screen printing studio and retail shop specializing in ethically made high-quality garments and gifts. Were known for our commitment to Rockford pride sustainability and retail-ready merchandise that people actually want to wear.
What Youll Do:
As Retail Manager youll be the heartbeat of our shopleading our retail team creating engaging in-store experiences and helping keep the RAD brand strong and evolving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day retail operations and ensure the shop is always guest-ready.
- Lead the retail team by exampleproviding great customer service motivating staff and holding everyone accountable to store goals.
- Monitor and respond to sales performance; set and execute weekly and monthly sales goals.
- Keep the retail floor stocked by creating timely work orders and coordinating with the print team.
- Manage wholesale accounts: communication order coordination and maintaining relationships.
- Assist with social media content creation (especially Instagram stories and reels).
- Collaborate with the RAD team on merchandising promotions events and seasonal launches.
- Maintain a clean organized and fun retail space that reflects RADs brand.
- Help lead community involvement project pop-ups and other activities.
- Train and support staff development to ensure team success and growth.
- Work closely with the owner and team leads to identifying opportunities for improvement.
Youre a Great Fit If You:
- Have 2 years of retail leadership experience (team lead assistant manager or higher).
- Are self-driven organized and able to manage multiple projects and priorities at once.
- Love people and have excellent communication skillsin person and online.
- Content creation or social media experience (especially TikTok or Reels)
- Are comfortable using or learning tools like Printavo Google Workspace Canva and Shopify.
- Have a passion for the local community ethical fashion and creative retail.
- Are flexible and willing to work weekends special events and evening shifts as needed.
Bonus Points For:
- Feel comfortable being in front of the camera to model RAD merch
- Familiarity with screen printing or working in a creative retail setting
- Wholesale or B2B experience in product-based businesses
