Your role ofHomeware and Licensing Designersits within our friendly and creative Partnerships department.
Your Role:
Responsible for the conception and delivery of the individual product strategies. The Homeware and Licensing Designer is accountable for innovating and collaborating with our License Partners to design and deliver beautiful quality ranges that are true to our brand DNA whilst delivering against the commercial parameters.
- Collaboration with Licence Manager and License Partners to deliver commercial ranges that work independently as categories but also work cohesively with the other product types.
- Deliver seasonal creative concept for Home & Licensing areas.
- Drive newness and be considerate of trends whilst maintaining commerciality and keeping true to the Joules brand DNA.
- Collaborate with License Partners and our in-house Print Team to ensure prints are fit for purpose.
- Build and maintain relationships with License Partners understanding capabilities to ensure product is fit for purpose.
- Communicate effectively and regularly with both internal and external License Partners.
- Responsible for all production approvals from 1st to final submits. Ensuring it is done to the brands standards and within the agreed time frame.
- Conduit between graphics/copy writers/packaging and license partners. To ensure packing is designed to the Joules guidelines to meet CP deadlines.
- Close work with Licensing Team to deliver Commercial Ranges
- Close working with Creative Teams to deliver Brand Vision.

From a technical and operational perspective it would also be advantageous if you have:
- Excellent brand and customer awareness able to articulate this through product/designs that resonate with our customer.
- A comprehensive understanding of how your area is trading through our various channels and territories.
- High awareness of CP ensuring deadlines are being met.
- High awareness of bestsellers within your category to inform opportunities for the future.
- Aligned with all genders/departments to ensure cohesion & synergies.
- Innovative and brave with colour and design.
- Solutions orientated: Always thinking 3 Steps ahead and anticipating outcomes.
- Confident presentation skills with the ability to influence.
- Understanding of critical path.
- Fully conversant in Illustrator so can adapt to the changing demands of the business needs i.e. digital sampling.
- Thinks with agility and speed able to react to the changing business needs.
- Take responsibility for organising and leading meetings.
Where will you be working
This is a full time on-site role based at The Barn - Joules purpose built Head Office in Market Harborough Leicestershire.
