As a Regional Sales Manager you take pride in representing Baxter and our products. Your Team

As a Regional Sales Manager will have responsibility for leading Portfolio Territory Managers and Nutrition Specialists and have responsibility for the tactical/operational daily activities of the sales team in leading the team to exceed the Portfolio Sales Budget.

Region Coverage: The Carolinas Tennessee N. Alabama S. Kentucky and Atlanta Georgia

What youll be doing:

  • Supporting the Territory Managers with prospective customers delivering effective sales presentations providing technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations and quoting appropriate customer prices
  • Driving the implementation of team strategies to ensure the attainment for regionally focused objectives
  • Planning directing and controlling the sales and business activities for region through the translation of strategic plans into sales strategies to attain sales volume product mix and profit objectives
  • Preparing annual regional forecasts and participating in the determination of market potential and in preparation of sales expense estimates for the region
  • Managing the sales & development efforts of the region including contract compliance staffing training performance management coaching plans administrative requirements (Boost BaxU QSOR Tableau OneDrive etc)
  • Collaborating with the IDN Team with major accounts within your region to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Conferring with immediate superior and marketing personnel in the development of marketing policy recommending product and product line revisions as well as pricing changes
  • Partnering with sales support marketing and R&D in activities such as sales promotion training or market research in planning and completing special projects
  • Promoting the Baxter Culture through positive ongoing customer relations.

What youll bring:

  • Bachelors degree required with 7 years of healthcare sales experience and 3 years of sales management experience preferred
  • Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral and presentation skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategies and possess good organization time management and overall leadership skills
  • Ability to understand and adapt to customer changing needs is critical
  • A demonstrated eye for business and knowledge of sales processes as well as effective leadership and decision-making abilities
  • Travel is required and may involve visits to remote or urban areas either individually or with other personnel

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter we are committed to equitable pay for all employees and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $128000 to $252000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors all of which are subject to change.
