Job Description

We are seeking a reliable detail-oriented and dedicated School Custodian to join our team. The custodian plays a vital role in maintaining a clean safe and welcoming environment for students staff and visitors. This position is responsible for the general upkeep of school buildings and grounds ensuring that all areas are sanitary orderly and in good Responsibilities:Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of classrooms restrooms hallways offices cafeterias gyms and other school mop vacuum and polish floors; dust and wipe down trash and recycling bins and ensure proper supplies such as soap paper towels and toilet minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs unclogging drains and basic with setup and breakdown for school events meetings and and report any safety hazards maintenance issues or needed repairs to the appropriate buildings by locking doors and windows and setting alarms as all health and safety regulations including those related to COVID-19 or other public health emergency response procedures and participate in safety :High school diploma or equivalent custodial or janitorial experience is a to operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals attention to detail and commitment to to work independently and as part of a team.
