About the Role:
The Adult Social Care Team at the London Borough of Islington is seeking a Duty Occupational Therapist to cover a vacancy. This supportive team emphasizes staff well-being offering free in-house training for locums regular supervision and a manageable workload.
What will your responsibilities be
In this role you will screen incoming Occupational Therapy (OT) referrals via initial telephone assessments order minor equipment following assessments (such as toilet frames and commodes) and conduct risk assessments. You will also provide telephone-based initial assessments and perform home visits if necessary due to staff shortages. The position involves hybrid working with three days in the office and two days from home.

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have a degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC).Additionally you must hold a full UK driving license and have the legal right to work in the UK.
