Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Middle School Math Teacher to join our school. In this role you will be responsible for creating lesson plans and delivering instruction to students in grades 6-8. The successful candidate will create a learning environment that fosters academic growth and encourages students to develop their mathematical skills. Within this role you must also be able to implement differentiated instructional strategies formatively assess student progress communicate effectively with parents/guardians and provide guidance to ensure success in the and Responsibilities:Teach Algebra 1 in 8th grade (pacing for two classes)Teach Coding and MakeSpace courses (curriculum is provided)Monitor a structured study sessionDevelop and execute lesson plans for Math classesMonitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parentsPrepare students for standardized tests and assessmentsUtilize technology to supplement instruction and engage studentsCollaborate with other teachers administrators and parents to ensure student successManage student behavior in the classroomProvide extra help to students who need additional assistanceParticipate in professional development activities
