Job Summary :
Hendricks Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to join our full-time outpatient primary care team. This role supports a busy team-based Internal Medicine and Pediatrics practice and focuses primarily on acute and sick visits while also providing comprehensive preventive and follow-up care across the lifespan.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Evaluate and manage acute and sick visits for pediatric and adult patients
Perform well child checks and sports physicals
Conduct Medicare Annual Wellness Exams
Complete hospital follow-up visits for adults with complex medical conditions
Order and interpret diagnostic tests initiate treatment plans and provide patient education
Follow up on diagnostic test results ordered by the APP including those resulted after hours
Collaborate closely with physicians and support staff to deliver high-quality team-based care
Document care accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record
Consult with on-site MDs as needed; physician support is always available
Practice Environment
Outpatient-only practice; no inpatient responsibilities
No after-hours call
Team-based model supporting 10 Internal Medicine/Pediatric physicians
Collaborative team includes 4 experienced APPs
Robust clinical and administrative support staff
On-site physician supervision and consultation at all times

Education and Experience Required:
1. Graduate of an Accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program.
2. Board certified and eligible for Indiana licensure
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred with strong background in both adult and pediatric care (Family Medicine)
4. Demonstrated ability to manage complex patients and a high-volume clinical environment
5. Excellent communication teamwork and clinical decision-making skills
6. Must maintain required continuing medical education.
Mandatory Licensure/Certifications:
1. Certification from the National Commission of Physician Assistants.
2. Licensed to practice in Indiana.
