The Staff Engineer will play a key role in providing structural engineering solutions for construction projects. This position involves the design and analysis of temporary structures such as shoring scaffolding bracing and formwork as well as structural assessments and repair design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering experience with CAD and structural analysis software and the ability to collaborate directly with clients.
This is a temp to possible perm position that requires to be fully on site
Salary: $70000 /-
Qualifications:
BS or MS in Civil Engineering with a structural concentration (preferred)
35 years of structural engineering experience
Experience designing with steel concrete wood aluminum and masonry
Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural analysis tools
Familiarity with scaffold hoisting and shoring systems (preferred)
Working knowledge of applicable design codes: IBC ASCE AISC ACI NDS
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Experience meeting with clients both on-site and in-office to discuss project requirements
