Job Description

The NA Seller Success organization strives to improve the Amazon customer experience by working directly with Sellers to improve inputs to seller growth including increasing selection improving catalog quality maximizing Prime commitment optimizing deals and advertising spend while educating on account health to drive seller growth. Our team invents and innovates across technology processes and people to enhance the services we offer improve Seller engagement and satisfaction and build scalable solutions.

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join Amazons fast paced highly collaborative start-up like environment. In this role you will own developing plans and executing on initiatives that will build an effective supply chain support excellent inventory management optimize cost and build strong partnerships with internal teams. To be successful in this role you should feel comfortable using data to influence stakeholders - both internal and external partners - and building scalable mechanisms to allow business growth. By joining this team you can build and operate as part of a dynamic fast-paced environment drive initiatives to improve operations and sales and customer experience.

The successful candidate is highly organized self-starting and possess strong data interpretation and analytical capabilities. They demonstrate passion for customer experience are thoughtful in their pursuit of results and thrive in a high energy environment where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel. The ideal candidate leads and influences both internal and external teams in ambiguous situations maintaining a customer-centric philosophy.

Key job responsibilities
Key job responsibilities
(1) Build supply chain strategies and manage the full lifecycle of complex initiatives/goals. Will be required to report progress and blockers towards these goals up to a Director and VP level.
(2) Identify and understand tradeoffs between different Amazon supply chain products and programs depending on product family and additional business nuances to best support sellers in navigating Amazons offerings. Use judgment to take calculated risks and innovate where necessary.
(3) Have a proven track record in stakeholder management. Will work across multiple Amazon teams to align on priorities be the voice of the sellers influence tech and product teams roadmaps and build internal strategies that help us move quickly towards product and program adoption.
(4) Proactive monitoring and continuous improvement of supply chain KPIs (e.g. Supply Chain by Amazon adoption healthy inventory levels and inventory spread) to improve speed of delivery for customers and optimize cost of business for sellers and Amazon via scalable mechanisms.
(5) Influence roadmap priorities of partner teams (product/program/operations) and reach consensus on approach/prioritization.
(6) Leverage data across many dimensions to discover opportunities to improve cost and speed. Ability to work with finance to quantify entitlement of opportunities.

- 5 years of product or program management product marketing business development or technology experience
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products

- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
