Are you a hands-on professional who takes pride in maintaining safe clean and functional health facilities Were looking for a Facility & Grounds Officer to ensure the smooth upkeep of both the interior and exterior of our health unit.
About the Role:
Reporting daily to the Director of Nursing and Midwifery theFacility and Grounds Officerwill be responsible for a range of general maintenance duties including rubbish collection carpentry painting plumbing mechanical work and grounds upkeep. Your work will play a key role in creating a safe comfortable and welcoming environment for patients staff and visitors.
This role offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the wellbeing of the community through your practical skills and dedication.
What Were Looking For:
- Trade qualifications or trade equivalent skills in a relevant trade.
- Proven experience in building and ground maintenance.
- Demonstrated experience in the use of a wide range of power tools.
- Experience in the use of computer packages e.g. Microsoft Word Excel.
- Proven experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in the day to day execution of a position.
