Job Description

Outdoor Adventure/Community Engagement Para EducatorRutland City Public Schools is seeking an outdoor adventure enthusiast to support students in a variety of activities including hiking mountain biking and winter sports. This individual should be community-focused. This position will also engage students in career exploration and shadowing experiences in the Rutland must possess strong communication and organizational skills be flexible and dependable and be a team player. Paraeducators provide students with instructional support social skills development and crisis intervention. Applicants must be willing to learn de-escalation and passive restraint techniques and pass a pre-employment physical screening and criminal background is a unique community in both its location and spirit offering people all the amenities of a city while minutes away from the heart of the Green Mountains. We are only fifteen minutes from the Appalachian and Long Trail twenty minutes from Killington Ski Resort and in close proximity to many other recreational completed online applications at will be accepted.
