Job Description
- Teach Cisco networking and cybersecurity courses aligned with industry certifications.
- Develop engaging hands-on lessons and real-world projects.
- Help students prepare for industry certification exams.
- Stay updated on the latest in Cisco and cybersecurity trends.
- Foster a positive inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other CTE staff to provide a cohesive learning experience.
- Develop relationships with business and post-secondary partners.
- Oversee program requirements data tracking and program approvals/reapprovals
- Required: Valid NYS CTE teaching certification in IT Network Administration or related field.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and/or CompTIA Security certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for teaching and student success.
- Experience in a high school CTE setting.
- IT Industry experience
