Position Overview:
We are seeking passionate energetic and motivated individuals to join our team as Part-Time Drama Instructors. This is a unique opportunity to teach and mentor children aged 4 to 17 in a fun engaging environment. You will follow world-renowned lesson plans to develop students literacy skills public speaking abilities teamwork and acting skills while fostering their confidence and imagination.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach and mentor students from ages 4 to 17 in drama and literacy enrichment
Follow and deliver provided lesson plans focused on speech movement and acting
Direct plays and organize student performances
Build positive relationships with students and their parents
Foster partnerships with local schools to enhance program outreach
Attend monthly staff meetings and participate in ongoing training
Optionally assist with administrative and marketing projects for our location
Maintain a fun supportive atmosphere that encourages creativity and collaboration
Qualifications:
We are looking for individuals who:
Have a genuine passion for working with kids
Are seeking a flexible part-time opportunity in a fun environment
Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills
Have high energy flexibility and a positive attitude
Are available in the afternoons and early evenings
Have reliable transportation and are willing to commute to various locations in Boulder and surrounding areas
Can commit to working for one school year
Theater and teaching experience is a plus but not a requirement
