Job Summary:Acquisition Professionals LLC is seeking TWO experienced Commodity Jurisdiction Analyst Level IV to support the review resolution and strategic oversight of complex Commodity Jurisdiction (CJ) requests. This senior-level role requires top-tier analytical skills sound policy judgment and the ability to work independently in a mission-critical national security environment.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelors degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or the Liberal Arts possess at least seven (7) years of relevant experienceincluding five (5) years in a related fieldand maintain an active Top Secret security clearance (TS/SCI preferred). Exceptional written and verbal communication organizational ability and professional discretion are essential. Responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing CJ requests for technical dispute resolution (TDR) contributing to the drafting and rewriting of TDRs and providing strateggic feedback to CJC leadership. This role supports multilateral export control regime reviews including the Wassenaar Arrangement and the Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR) and involves influencing policy interpretations developing new analytical approaches and supporting cross-agency collaboration.
The successful candidate will demonstrate mastery in their professional field making recommendations that may significantly shape public policy and program direction. This role directly impacts high-level administrative or scientific programs and contributes to international compliance efforts under U.S. export control regulations.
Responsibilities:- Employs mastery of a professional field to apply experimental theories and new developments to problems not susceptible to treatment by accepted methods.
- Makes decisions or recommendations significantly changing interpreting or developing important public policies or programs.
- Isolates and defines unknown conditions resolves critical problems or develops new theories.
- Provides products or services that affect the work of other experts the development of major aspects of administrative or scientific programs or missions or the well-being of substantial numbers of people.
- Performs all the duties of a Level III specialist for this same track.
- Provides peer feedback to CJC Division Chief and Deputy.
- Assists CJC Deputy in the analysis of Commodity Jurisdiction Requests being reviewed for Technical Dispute Resolution (TDR). Rewrites TDRs and provides peer feedback as necessary.
- Assists the CJC Lead for the divisions effort in supporting multilateral regime reviews to include the Wassenaar Arrangement and Missile Technology Control Regime.
Education/Certifications:- Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or the Liberal Arts and seven years of experience.
- Possess a minimum Top Secret security clearance up to an TS/SCI Clearance.
