We are currently seeking a Manchester based Junior Accountant to join our growing remote Finance team in the UK.
ShareDo part of Clio is a cutting-edge adaptive work management platform that empowers large law firms to develop tailored solutions for managing their work processes. We are currently targeting mid to large law firms who use ShareDo as their Case Management System to streamline processes maximize margin and provide improved client experiences.

Were expanding quickly and are seeking a Junior Accountant to support our accounts receivable and accounts payable functions. Youll be working with a team that values excellence and initiative. Accounts Payable
Manage the AP inbox process invoices and expenses and maintain accurate vendor and banking records
Coordinate invoice approvals across teams ensuring timely payment runs (wire EFT ACH SEPA BACS) and correct coding to the general ledger
Reconcile vendor accounts and corporate credit card activity investigating discrepancies and preparing journal entries where needed
Support VAT or tax-related documentation and assist with related reporting as required
Accounts Receivable
Handle the AR inbox respond to customer queries and issue invoices based on time bookings and sales orders
Work with the Account Management team to resolve billing issues and ensure timely collection
Monitor and analyse the aged receivables ledger recommending and executing actions on overdue or high-risk accounts
Perform reconciliations of AR balances and post adjustments to the general ledger as needed
Financial Operations & Reporting
Assist with the month-end close process including reconciliations journal postings and supporting schedules
Prepare reports and working papers to support external audits VAT filings and internal controls testing
Help maintain financial accuracy through adherence to internal controls and continuous process improvement
Manage and organise financial records (e.g. receipts vendor documents tax data) and support system-related improvements where appropriate
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
23 years of experience in an accounting support role (AR/AP operations or junior GL)
Experience performing account reconciliations and preparing journal entries
Familiarity with audit preparation and financial controls
Strong reporting and analytical skills especially around aged receivables/payables
Ridiculous attention to detail and the ability to self-manage effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A strong work ethic positive energy and a multitasking mindset
Working toward (or considering) a CPA designation
Experience with NetSuite Xero or other cloud-based accounting platforms
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (lookups pivot tables formulas)
Prior exposure to SaaS startup or high-growth environments
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

The full salary range* for this role is 35500 to 41800 to 48100 note salary bands may differ based on location and local currency. Additionally benefit offerings may differ depending on the employees location.
*We aim to hire all candidates between the minimum and the midpoint of the full salary range. We reserve the midpoint to the maximum of the salary band for internal employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on individual experience and skillset of the candidate.
