JOB-QualityEngineer
LOCATION- Wigan
TERM-Permanent
SALARY- 37000 per annum plus benefits
We are looking for a Quality Engineer on a permanent basis in the Wigan area with experience in the Manufacturing Industry. Your main duty will be to assist the Quality Engineering Team in the day to day running of the Quality Management System.
TheQualityEngineerwillideallyhavethefollowingattributes:
- QualifiedinEngineeringideally(NVQ/HNC/HND/Degreeorsimilar)ORQualifiedbyexperience
- PreviousexperienceworkinginasimilarQualityEngineeringrole
- MusthavepreviousexperienceofworkingwithISO9001IATF16949AS9100ISO13485orsimilarqualitymanagementsystem.
- Workingexperienceofqualitymethodssuchas5SLEANandContinuousImprovement.
- Familiarwiththeauditingprocess.
- Haveexcellentcommunicationskillsbothverbalandwritten
- Beself-motivatedandhaveapositiveattitude
- Goodproblem-solvingskills.
- AnyexperiencewithmechanicalCNCmachiningorsimilarwouldbebeneficialbutnotneeded.
TheQualityEngineerrolewillinvolve:
- Ensuringallproductsmeettherequiredqualitystandards.
- Correspondingwithvariousdepartments
- Identifyingmanufacturingqualityissues.
- Advisingonprocessimprovementstoimprovequality
- MaintainingtheQMS andcarryingoutaudits
