Job Description

THE POSITION

Your role will involve supporting the Driver and Vehicle Services (DVS) systems and their related subsystems allowing you to engage in various technical analysis tasks while ensuring the integrity of essential systems. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role you will perform tasks related to the development modification and operability of Driver Licensing and Motor Vehicle systems. Your responsibilities will include documenting process changes to enhance business operations which entails organizing and facilitating business meetings drafting business requirement documents and identifying essential business needs. You will also undertake various analytical duties to support and maintain the transition to electronic data processing methods across multiple applications such as the Drivers Licensing and Credentialing Systems (DL&C) Commonwealth Automated Registration and Titling System (CARATS) and Modernized Vehicle and Drivers License Systems (MVDLS) among others.Additionally you will be responsible for creating testing plans and scripts associated with system enhancements new initiatives legislative changes or defect resolutions. Your work will contribute to the overall efficiency and reliability of the various applications including those related to electronic lien titles financial responsibility and mobile applications as well as any other assigned systems.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday - Friday with a 60-minute lunch. This position also performs off hours support and reporting as required.
  • Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
  • Salary:In some cases the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
