Senior Manufacturing Operations Analyst E7

Company:

Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Operations Analyst (Level 4) to join the E-7 program reporting to the Operations team. This position will support the factory start up and build activities through the initial Rapid Prototype aircraft contract and beyond based in Tukwila WA.

This analyst will work closely with Operations Management other site programs and support organizations such as Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Quality Manufacturing Engineering Liaison Engineering Tool Services Design Engineering Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) and Compliance to develop and implement all facets of the BDS production build of the E-7 program

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides advanced technical knowledge and leadership to manufacturing projects that affect organization efficiency.
  • Leads complex group work sessions selecting and using advanced Lean principles processes and tools to implement the Boeing Production System for internal or external customers.
  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.
  • Analyzes and interprets data.
  • Provides feedback on assessment results and identifies opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk.
  • Works with organizations to develop strategies plans and metrics to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and update Executive decks regularly for report out.
  • Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans.
  • Works under minimal direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Proficiency and experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint)
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally (engineering program management modification team and/or finance) and across multiple business units (BDS BGS Field Operations etc.)
  • Experience with project management and self- managing projects

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or higher
  • Experience at FAA Part 121/135 operator or Part 145 Repair Station

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel: Willing to travel up to 10%
