Job Description
Our client is seeking a Finance Executive to join their finance team. This role plays a vital part in maintaining accurate financial operations supporting statutory compliance and working across departments to deliver timely and reliable financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable tasks including invoice processing supplier payments and customer collections
- Support month-end closing activities and prepare balance sheet schedules and reconciliations within required timelines
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial data in the ERP system maintaining clean and up-to-date records
- Assist in audit preparations tax filings and statutory reporting while adhering to internal control requirements
- Collaborate with the Finance Manager on finance improvement projects such as inventory counts and process automation
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g. sales operations R&D) to resolve finance-related discrepancies and maintain data accuracy
- Recommend process improvements and implement best practices to enhance finance workflows
- Enforce internal finance policies and procedures ensuring full compliance and ethical standards across all transactions
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in a finance or accounting support role
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and local tax regulations
- High attention to detail and accuracy in handling large volumes of data
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration
- Proactive solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work under pressure
- Awareness of internal control principles and commitment to policy compliance
