Job Description
For our R&D coatings laboratory based at Civitanova (Marche) we are actively looking for a Chemist Associate. In this role you will perform entry-level analyses testing and formulation of new products (wood coatings).
Responsibilities
- Perform analyses tests and development of new or updated formulas
- Site support activities focus on support QC and formula transfer
- Formula optimization process works with process team to ensure the productivity.
- Formula management in ERP system
- Quality investigations activities to support ARC analysis.
- Provide feedback test results and data regarding the formulation process and recommends modifications to formulas.
- Ensure compliance with department policies and procedures and applicable laws rules and regulations.
- Respond to standard to moderately complex questions and concerns from plants research technicians quality control and other internal parties regarding development and related programs and services
- Operate clean and calibrate a variety of equipment that requires professional judgment and background; also utilize technical or standard equipment during projects
Qualifications
- Degree in Chemistry (Industrial Chemistry ideally)
- Demonstrate knowledge of various technologies instruments and materials.
- Understanding of fundamental professional chemistry principles and practices;
- Formulation skills
- Good communication and analytical skills
- Italian/English
